ANNOUNCEMENT

The College of Lara is a serene, self-contained educational and event destination spanning an entire sim, offering a quiet retreat from the busy city for classes, private meetings, and grand celebrations. The campus features ten versatile venues—ranging from intimate pavilions and specialized medical facilities to a large theater, lecture halls, and a chapel—capable of accommodating a wide variety of both In Character (IC) and Out of Character (OOC) gatherings. To reserve a space, community members and instructors must submit a formal proposal to Vice Chancellor Nuada Silverhand detailing the event's schedule, description, and privacy requirements, all while upholding the institution's core standards of mutual respect and open enrollment.

The College of Lara occupies its own exclusive level, spanning the entire size of the sim. This offers a completely self-contained, serene environment. You can conduct your business, classes, and celebrations in total peace—there is absolutely no need to travel down to the busy city or interact there unless you choose to do so.

Ideal for specialized seminars and relaxed study circles in unparalleled comfort.

Capacity: 12 total (6 chairs & 6 cushions on the First Floor) 

Versatile mixed-seating for instructional gatherings and dynamic discussions.

Capacity & Features: 18 chairs (First Floor - Physicians)   

Includes Exam Room, Surgery, and Obstetrics on the first floor. The second floor features a Study/Library, Office, Apothecary, Morgue, and Balcony. The premier center for medical sciences.

Capacity: 6 chairs (First Floor)   

A dedicated, quiet classroom to foster focus and academic excellence.

An exclusive, highly intimate enclave for dedicated study or private meetings.

The first floor houses the Chancellor's Office & Waiting Room, while the second floor boasts a large lecture hall for essential courses and gatherings.

Capacity: 4 chairs (First Floor)   

Serenity and seclusion offering a light-filled space for private tutoring or quiet conversation.

Capacity & Features: 18 total (8 chairs & 10 cushions on the First Floor)   

Features a versatile classroom on the first floor, the Vice Chancellor's Office & Waiting Room on the second, and a Slave Dorm on the third floor.

Capacity & Features: 20 chairs in current setup (First Floor)   

Features a Large Stage with adaptable Ballroom or Theatre seating. The cultural epicenter for grand celebrations and the arts.

A solemn sanctuary for reflection, campus-wide assemblies, and reverence.

⊰══════════⊱ Scheduling & Submission ⊰══════════⊱

Please follow these guidelines when scheduling and conducting your classes.

All class proposals must be submitted to Nuada Silverhand, Vice Chancellor of the College of Lara [Nuada Hawke-Xorius-Slade (nuada.soothsayer)],  􀀂   with the following details:

⊰⊱ Fundamentals: Provide the Title, Date, Time, and Length (standard is one hour). If proposing a series, please include all scheduling information in one request.

⊰⊱ Context: Clearly state if the class is In Character (IC) or Out of Character (OOC).  

⊰⊱ Calendar Description: Provide a short, engaging description for the College calendar. 

⊰⊱ Class Type: Specify if it is a single class or a series.

⊰⊱ Series Limit: A series of classes may not exceed a maximum of 10 weeks at a time unless you talk to the Vice Chancellor first to check availability.

⊰⊱ Open Enrollment: All are welcome to attend any class at the College.  Meetings and other events please state if they are private so we get that listed with the title.  

⊰⊱ Mutual Respect: We maintain a professional environment. Treat every individual—student, guest, or fellow instructor—with absolute respect.
