📝 Scribe Caste & Administration (Morning to Mid-Day)
City Traffic Spike: The morning began with Scribes Shar Silverclaw-Jacobson and Caroline Gallius noting that the Teletus sim had reached the top of the Gor board with over 31K in traffic, surpassing Turmus, attributing the success to active events.
Caste Tasks: Kati Evans (AHoC/Magistrate) was occupied with administrative tasks (spreadsheets, mailboxes) and dealing with several requests throughout the day.
Outreach & Travel: Abraham Jacobson tasked Caroline Gallius (Ambassador) and Tyan Cabot (Scribe/Magistrate) with drafting and delivering a scroll to the Warrior Castes in Selnar and Turmus about an upcoming ROC night and Warrior Run. Tyan noted he will escort Caroline to Olni later.
New Scribe Enrollment (Lady Rebia): Lady Rebia Valerius arrived from Schendi, expressing interest in joining the Scribe Caste and settling in Teletus after the death of her companion. She formally submitted her application (which Kati subsequently logged and passed to Abraham, the HoC, for follow-up). She was directed to The Hearth for free women's housing (Kati's home).
Conflict: Rebia briefly encountered merchant Travis Sohl at his cafe and became offended by his renovation comments about "people without brains," although Travis stated he wasn't referring to her specifically.
Specialized Contract Request (Okiya): Kasumi (star1 Sandalwood) requested that a Scribe draft a legal contract for Contract Women at her new Okiya, The Jade Lantern. The contract needs to clearly define their status (not slave, not free) for protection against disputes. Kati agreed to draft this, requesting Kasumi provide a rough draft of the contents first.
Guardianship Contract: Travis Sohl required a standard Free Woman Protection Contract completed for Callista Patria (a traveling scribe). The contract was formalized, specifying him as "Head of Household" indefinitely, requiring the protected party to adhere to all of his rules and city laws, with additional clauses restricting tavern/slave interaction and giving him control of her finances.

Mock Trial Planning: Abraham confirmed that the upcoming Mock Trial on Sunday (9:00 AM) will cover a Treason Case involving a Free Woman merchant accused by the First Sword, with Tyan serving as the Prosecutor.
"Run, Hide, and Seek" Warrior Run: An upcoming event was heavily promoted by Andros Mosely (Head of Merchants) and other Warriors, scheduled for 5:00 PM SLT.
It is a Warrior Run (Run, Hide, and Seek) where Free Women and slaves hide, and men chase/capture them.
Rules emphasize Melee combat only (no bows), and no mini-map use.
Prizes are 1000L each for the Best Seeker and Best Hider.
Several women and men signed up to participate, including the Tengdur family members and key city figures.
ROC Card Tournament: A highly anticipated card tournament was underway, with stakes increasing to 2400L for first place (thanks to a donation by Mira). Mal, Neptune, Alira, and Sari advanced to the final rounds.
